Employment through Akamai is based on the skills you offer, the quality of the reference you provide and the availability of current open job orders. In order to serve you better, please keep your contact information current. If you change addresses or phone numbers, please contact us in order to keep your information current Most employers look for potential employees to be as thorough as possible either on the job or in the process of applying for one. Please fill out this employment application forms as completely as possible. It is the policy of our agency to verify previous work history for at least the last five (5) years of your employment. If these forms are not complete, we will not be able to consider you for employment. Please furnish us with a resume whenever possible. If you do not have one prepared, you may inquire about our resume preparation services. Akamai Services recruits and screens for all types of employment opportunities. We work with different classes of client companies. Our signature service is a "temp to perm" basis, providing both the client and you the opportunity to "trial hire" the position before a formal offer is made. If you are hired by one of these companies on a temp to perm basis through our company, we will be your official employer of record until you are hired permanently through the company. This means that our agency will be executing your immediate payroll and employee benefits available after 30 days of continuous employment. Other positions offered are permanent placements, temporary assignments and contract work. All fees are paid by our client companies. Akamai Service's work-week runs from Monday through Sunday weekly. Each week, our employees are required to fax, deliver or mail their timesheets from the previous workweek for processing to our office. Deadline for submitting your timesheet is the Monday following the previous workweek. It is your responsibility to maintain the accuracy of the timesheet and have it authorized by the client company you are assigned to. Paydays are weekly, on Fridays. In the event of a late timesheet being submitted, your payroll will be processed the following week. You may elect for direct deposit after 30 days of consecutive employment. In the event you are selected for employment, we will need to make copies of your social security card and an acceptable form of legal picture I.D. This measure is to ensure your eligibility to work in the U.S. We must also obtain your tax withholding information and disability waiver. These items MUST be completed PRIOR to hire. Your reliable transportation will greatly affect your ability to interview and accept employment. Please secure reliable transportation prior to accepting an assignment.
